Research Experience (05/2005 – 06/2005):

Appointed as a Research Officer for the project “Open labeled randomized, multicentric, comparative study to evaluate the immunogenicity & reactogenicity of Enivac HB (rDNA Hepatitis B vaccine; Panacea Biotech Ltd., India) with Engerix B (rDNA Hepatitis B vaccine; GSK Biologicals) in Infants”. As a research officer, the duties comprised of counselling patients about immunization, vaccination of infants, blood collections, compilation of data and helping in administrative work.

 

Volunteer Experience:

I provide voluntary service as a pediatrician during the annual camps organized by Dhanvantari School at Bhuj, Gujarat, India. This is a special school for children suffering from mental retardation, autism, cerebral palsy and hearing impairment. My role is to perform a clinical and neurodevelopmental assessment for these school children; also for those similarly disabled kids coming from nearby areas to attend these camps.
